Adam Zucker heads the firm’s Criminal Defense and Title IX/Campus Discipline practices. He relentlessly defends the accused in both the criminal courts as well as students and faculty in college and university Title IX and Campus Discipline cases nationwide. He does not shy away from unpopular or difficult cases.
In his criminal defense practice, he has extensive experience representing clients in felony and misdemeanor cases including DUIs, Thefts, Sex Crimes, computer crimes, assaults, and drug cases. His experience with complex major jury trials and litigation in such cases has honed his skills in identifying issues and inconsistencies in witness testimony in the criminal courts as well as in the Title IX and campus disciplinary setting. Over the years Mr. Zucker has developed a deep bench of experts and investigators which gives him the ability to bring the right resources to each case. His use of Digital Forensics experts, for example, has brought him great success in computer crime cases and Title IX cases proving that a client whose computer was found to have contraband had the contraband placed there by another through an open internet connection, and in another case that texts messages submitted as evidence were altered, exonerating both clients of the crimes and title ix violations with which they were charged.
In his Title IX and College Discipline Practice, Mr. Zucker is passionate about advising students and their families ensnared in these cases. His Title IX and Campus Discipline practice is national in scope having advised accused students and faculty in Colleges and Universities across the country. He understands the stress and anxiety that arise out of a disciplinary system lacking in due process and works with medical, psychological, educational, and investigative professionals to put his clients in the best possible position. His experience trying criminal cases has given him a distinct advantage in representing students and faculty who are the subject of campus disciplinary proceedings.
Mr. Zucker has delivered and moderated numerous continuing legal education classes to other attorneys including courses on Title IX, Representing the Autistic Student, DUI ignition interlock, and wiretap law. He has also presented talks on Campus Discipline and Title IX at several colleges.
