Geoff joined the firm as counsel in the firm’s civil practice, with a focus on Title IX defense. For several years Mudrick & Zucker has had a national Title IX defense practice in which Geoff is now actively involved.
Until April 1, 2020, Mr. Beauchamp was General Counsel for the Delaware Valley Municipal Management Association and its member pools: the Delaware Valley Insurance Trust, the Delaware Valley Workers’ Compensation Trust and the Delaware Valley Health Trust, all of which are based in Horsham, Pa. Mr. Beauchamp was also a member of the AGRiP Board of Directors and Chair of the AGRiP Health Pool Resource Group which is charged with assessing the impact of the new health care law on AGRiP’s many public entity health insurance pools.
Upon graduation from law school Geoff joined the U.S. Department of Justice where he ran the Attorney General’s Advocacy Institute until he became an Assistant U.S. Attorney in New Orleans and thereafter became an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Philadelphia. In 1984 he entered private practice where he specialized in commercial litigation. He also drafted state model anti-piracy legislation for the MPAA and the Internet Security Task Force that was adopted in several states in the early 2000s.
Geoff received a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
